Rainbow rice has been making its rounds lately! I have tons of colored rice, so I saw no need to make any more… but since a lot of you have asked how on earth we can make rainbow rice, here’s my simple tutorial! Watch the video below and follow the instructions for the simplest and brightest rainbow rice!
Depending on how much rice you need, adjust quantities as needed. Here’s what I did:
1.5 cups uncooked rice in a quart ziplock bag + generous squirt of washable paint (or any craft paint you have). Close bag, shake until it’s all even and then pour out of the bag onto some tin foil or parchment paper to dry! Once dry (20-30 minutes approximately depending on how much paint you used) loosen up with your hands and pour into sensory bin! To store: back into ziplock! You can re use this rice as many times as you want!! 🙌🏼
Please let me know if you have any questions at all!! I’m here to help!!
